sigh.Ī note about the characters: when confronted by what seems to be the shambling undead, most people would be slightly shocked. The voice acting doesn't make up for it, as everyone seems to be performing a play in high school. They look like quick sketches someone made to tell the real artist how these scenes should look, and then the developers decided not to hire anyone to clean them up.
The story is told using very rough, very ugly still images that move by sliding around the screen or by subtle morphing effects. Here's the thing, though: it's really not worth it. Igntition takes place before Dead Space 2, and you can unlock items for your Dead Space 2 playthrough by completing Ignition.
